[EN] The Floating University is an urban laboratory in the heart of Berlin created for collective and experiential learning and transdisciplinary exchange around themes relating to wetland ecosystems and rainwater harvesting.
In 2021, we took part in the transformation of the project's infrastructure, building a ‘Rain Palace’ with a scaffolding structure mounted on a wooden platform and covered with reeds harvested on site, as well as new platforms and pontoons to accommodate new spaces and uses.
[FR] La Floating University est un laboratoire urbain en plein coeur de Berlin créée pour l'apprentissage collectif et expérientiel et pour l'échange transdisciplinaire autour de thèmes relatifs aux écosystèmes des zones humides et de la récupération des eaux pluviales.
En 2021, nous avons pris part à la transformation des infrastructures du projet en construisant notamment un "Palais de la Pluie" avec une structure en échaffaudages montée sur une plateforme en bois et couverte de roseaux, récoltés sur place ainsi que de nouvelles plateformes et pontons pour accueillir de nouveaux espaces et usages.
