[EN] All the landmarks have been developed according to the same visual identity, so that they can be easily recognised wherever they are located in the city. The visual identity of each entity is defined by the choice of colours (neon green and grey) and materials used (a combination of sand-lime bricks, plywood, textiles and camping poles and hoops).
The materials were also chosen for their ease of implementation and potential for re-use, which perfectly fit in with a nomadic and temporary micro-architecture project. The combination of dry masonry, textiles and camping structures meets the need for quick and easy assembly and dismantling. The materials used for the main structure are also used without transformation so that they can be put back into circulation and find a new life at the end of the event.
[EN] Developed as part of the ‘Own your city’ event, our ‘nomadic stops’ reinterpret well-known elements of the urban landscape - bus stops - to serve the many events taking place throughout Berlin during the ‘Praxiswoche’.
The design of these nomadic bus stops comes in three formats, combining the functions of a visual landmark, a meeting place and possibly, for the bigger ones, an information and seating point. The elements are designed to be quick and easy to assemble and dismantle, so that they can be transported around the city as events take place.
